Protein Hummus

Don't have any tahini on hand to make homemade hummus? Try this recipe instead using plain Greek yogurt in place of tahini! The Greek yogurt adds a touch more protein than regular hummus and a creamy texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend together until smooth and creamy.
  • Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh herbs if desired.
